Prince William Chamber Unveils New Logo

It has been a busy week at the recently formed Prince William Chamber of Commerce with the announcement of a new Chairman of the Board, Tim Jackson of MDA Technologies Group and now the unveiling of a new logo.  The image representing the newest and largest Chamber in Northern Virginia was the result of the combined efforts of GC Schow and Kathy Strauss of member graphic design firm, ImageWerks. ImageWerks was selected to design the new logo after responding to an RFP that was open to all qualified member companies.

The RFP outlined that the logo should reflect the vision for the new Chamber of Commerce, including five key attributes:
  • A Forward-Thinking & Vibrant Organization
  • Strong & Supportive
  • The Voice of Business
  • Inclusive Community Organization
  • A Magnet for All Businesses- Both Large & Small

Strauss and Schow were active members of both the Prince William Regional and Prince William County-Greater Manassas Chambers of Commerce, and supporters of the merger. “We were thrilled to be the designers of the logo for the new, unified Prince William Chamber of Commerce,” says Kathy Strauss, “It was exciting to get in on the ground floor and help to begin the branding of this new organization. To us, this logo looks to the future. It represents a coming together of two solid organizations with room to grow and expand. We believe in the Prince William Chamber and the possibilities for business growth that come with membership. Truly this is an organization that supports the success of its individual members and the local economy as a whole.”
