With the success of last years event of 1000 guests and over 250 vehicles, this year is expected to be BIGGER and BETTER.
On Saturday, September 13, 2008, from 10:00am to 4:00pm the Prince William County Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Washington will be hosting its 2nd Annual Motor Madness at the Prince William County Fairgrounds in Manassas, Virginia.
Vehicle Registration is $25 per Class to show. Gates open will promptly at 8:00am for Vehicle Registration only. General Admission is $5 for adults and FREE for children 12 and under. Gates will open to the public at 10:00am.
This years event will feature live music and entertainment, a “Children’s Pavilion” and an expanded vendor exhibition. We encourage car, truck and motorcycle clubs to participate.

HOME LIFE DEPARTMENT : Comfort Packages that go to the Domestic Violence shelter are in need of the following items: Beanie Babies/other small animals, toothpaste and toothbrushes, dental floss, small mouth wash, disposable razors and shaving cream, and small packages (24 or so) Q-tips.
The Homeless Shelter is in need of these items: powder laundry detergent, children’s bathing suits, deodorant, and African-American hair products.
EDUCATION COMMITTEE: The Homeless Shelter is in need of these items: educational games, Checkers, kid’s magazines, family and/or children’s videos and DVDs, and pencil sharpeners (small hand held ones).
For an upcoming project we are in need of pink pearl erasers and “fun” pencils (Pencils that have a design on them that would be appealing to children, for example, hearts, stars, sport equipment, etc.).
We also continue to collect used books and box tops.
CONSERVATION COMMITTEE: Friends of Homeless Animals are in need of the following items: blankets, towels, toys, and pet beds.

Presented jointly with the Prince William County Park Authority Arts Council, this glittering extravaganza kicks off an exciting new performance season for the numerous Prince William County art organizations. Your elegant evening begins with a reception featuring heavy hors d’oeuvres served with white gloves by your personal butler. Enjoy an open bar for the first hour (cash bar for the remainder of the evening) and delectable array of cakes to satisfy your sweet tooth.
Then, it’s on to performances from a variety of area arts groups while the Arts Council presents its annual awards. Consider this event as the perfect opportunity to thank your associates, volunteers, board members or supporters with a free ticket. Tickets are $45 before September 1st, $50 after September 1st and at the door/billed and non-members pay $55. As always, cancellations must be received 24 hours in advance to be honored.
We also invite member arts organizations to exhibit free at this event to promote or sell tickets to upcoming classes or performances. Performance organizations may choose to send representatives in costume. Paintings, exhibits and objects of art can be placed on eight-foot, skirted exhibit tables provided for this purpose.
