Old Town Alexandria has so much to offer, from its historic old homes, colorful streets, tourists, and the waterfront along the Potomac River. You will learn techniques that will enable you to transform would-be snapshots into striking compositions that tell a story. In this two day workshop you will meet in Old Town Alexandria on day one and after a brief talk about composition, basic photography, how to capture shapes, textures, colors, and light you’ll walk through the streets taking pictures. Day 2 brings us back to the Workhouse where we'll take your photos and begin to edit & critique as a group. Photoshop applications will be covered to demonstrate final image processing.
