With the success of last years event of 1000 guests and over 250 vehicles, this year is expected to be BIGGER and BETTER.

On Saturday, September 13, 2008, from 10:00am to 4:00pm the Prince William County Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Washington will be hosting its 2nd Annual Motor Madness at the Prince William County Fairgrounds in Manassas, Virginia.

Vehicle Registration is $25 per Class to show. Gates open will promptly at 8:00am for Vehicle Registration only.
General Admission is $5 for adults and FREE for children 12 and under. Gates will open to the public at 10:00am.

This years event will feature live music and entertainment, a “Children’s Pavilion” and an expanded vendor exhibition. We encourage car, truck and motorcycle clubs to participate.

            HOME LIFE DEPARTMENT :  Comfort Packages that go to the Domestic Violence shelter are in need of the following items:  Beanie Babies/other small animals, toothpaste and toothbrushes, dental floss, small mouth wash, disposable razors and shaving cream, and small packages (24 or so) Q-tips. 

The Homeless Shelter is in need of these items:  powder laundry detergent, children’s bathing suits, deodorant, and African-American hair products.

            EDUCATION COMMITTEE:  The Homeless Shelter is in need of these items:  educational games, Checkers, kid’s magazines, family and/or children’s videos and DVDs, and pencil sharpeners (small hand held ones).

For an upcoming project we are in need of pink pearl erasers and “fun” pencils (Pencils that have a design on them that would be appealing to children, for example, hearts, stars, sport equipment, etc.).

We also continue to collect used books and box tops.

            CONSERVATION COMMITTEE:  Friends of Homeless Animals are in need of the following items:  blankets, towels, toys, and pet beds.
